I dropped in from another school. I attended the 12:30-1:30 all levels GB1/GB2 class. The class structure was short GB warm up, drilling, situational drilling with multiple rounds of sparring at the end. Im a white belt and had the oppurtunity to roll with a lot of there upper belts here. Had a very good workout. The mats are clean and spacious, the bathrooms are top tier. The showers, lockers, private bathroom were all very well kept. Drop in fee is $50. Professor Romulo is world class and he is very engaged with the training, walking around and making sure the students are doing the drills and techniques properly. The front desk is very welcoming. Overall. This is a world class school with a world class teacher. definitely worth the $50 and I will be dropping in a lot more often. A friend recommended this place, my son finally started, he loves it a lot. I would be highly recommended because of the good culture, the spirit of athletes, partnerships , respect, helping each others and also did your best. Professors are very nice, a teen class about 1 hour, 3 to 4 Professors are watching and coaching everyone, literally everyone. Highly recommend. The Best Thing I have done for my kids over 10 years ago was make them part of the Team Romulo Gracie Barra School (and I joined after). Iron sharpens Iron and I am eternally grateful to professor Jason, Janaina and all the professors that were part of my kids training during the years . It made them grow with respect to others, discipline, focus, super fit and tough mentally and in body. BJJ has become of part of them for rest of their lives... Gracie Barra [**Northridge**](https://gbnorthridge.com/northridge-kids-self-defense-anti-bullying-bjj-gracie-barra/) has become like our second home. My kids 8, and 7, love training here. The coaches are professional, patient, and make class a lot of fun. It’s a great place to learn self defense, burn some energy and make a lot of new friends. Both my son and daughters confidence and self awareness has spiked tremendously since joining BJJ and we couldn’t be happier to bring them here. Gracie Barra Nortridge Brazilian jiu-jitsu is a great jiu-jitsu academy. I started my teen daughter and son and they love it. What they like the most? The support from the teachers and friendly staff. What I like as a parent is that I see a lot of supervision. I believe there are 7 or 8 teachers fora group of about 30- 4 students. I dealt with Marcelo in the office, he was very kind and patient as it took us about 2 weeks to decide to sign up.
